Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Alto, a service operated by Solar Beam Studio, SASU, registered in France (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using Alto, you agree to these Terms.

1. Service

Alto is an SEO platform that uses AI agents to generate blog articles, track keyword rankings, optimize for large language model search, and produce performance reports. Alto connects to your Google Search Console and Google Analytics 4 properties via Google OAuth, in read-only mode, to display search performance and traffic data.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old and have authority to bind any organization on whose behalf you accept these Terms.

3. Account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use Alto to violate any law or third-party right.
• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or interfere with Alto’s operation.
• Submit content you do not own or have rights to.
• Use Alto to send spam or abusive automated requests to Google APIs or any third-party service.

5. AI-generated content

Alto uses third-party AI models to generate blog articles and other content. You are responsible for reviewing and approving generated content before publishing it. We make no warranty as to the accuracy, originality, or fitness for purpose of generated content.

6. Google API compliance

Your use of Alto must comply with the Google API Services User Data Policy and applicable Google product terms. Alto only requests scopes necessary for its features and only in read-only mode.

7. Subscription and payment

Plans start at $99 per month. Fees are billed in advance via Stripe and are non-refundable except where required by law. You can cancel at any time from your account settings.

8. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access for breach of these Terms or for risk to the service or other users, with notice where reasonably possible.

9. Disclaimers

Alto is provided “as is”. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that data retrieved from Google APIs will be complete or accurate. We are not affiliated with Google.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability under these Terms is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by French law. Disputes will be submitted to the competent courts of Paris, France, except where mandatory consumer-protection law provides otherwise.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-app notice at least 14 days before taking effect.
